Q2 ENCLOSURE

The base cabinet for the clock was custom made for me by the same firm that made my cigar humidor, Staebell Associates. It’s made of  solid Mahogany  with two Flame Mahogany recessed panels in the front door. It houses the power supply for the clock as well as the vacuum pump and the logic board.

The base of the clock itself is made of marble and was fabricated locally. The glass dome was also custom made by a glassblowing firm in the southern part of New Jersey.  It was the same company that fabricated the glass cylinder for clock Q1.

Since this picture was taken, the two power supplies have since been consolidated into one much smaller supply.
